Bottled Essence

This project, in which I experiment with bottle visualizations, began with a non-standard “double exposure” technique. Instead of using the traditional method of merging two images into one, I took a new photograph of a printed image and added something new to it. The goal was to enhance the presence of the bottle in the photo and further emphasize its shape.

On the other hand, even without the bottles themselves in the image, the viewer can still easily recognize them.

The first two experiments inspired me to create a liquid flow in the form of a perfume bottle. This procedure required meticulous planning and execution to produce a seamless and visually appealing image, showcasing the fluidity and movement of the liquid in the shape of the bottle. These photos connected the whole project.

The minimalist and clean lighting design accentuates the strong and precise character of the images, drawing attention to the unique form and design of each bottle. The shape of the bottles and their lids is a vital aspect of this project, as it not only highlights the recognition of the brand, but also underscores the importance of packaging design in the fragrance industry.

And yes, these are indeed photographs. And no, not a single bottle was harmed during the process. Here are a few backstage shots:
